Wind Orchestra 1 and 2 combined for a performance to open the Parents & Citizens (P&C) Welcome Picnic on 12 March. The Year 7s and 8s worked together as a team to pull together this performance after only two weeks of rehearsals this term. They are also to be commended for performing a piece that they read from sight one hour before the performance. Students in Year 8 were invited to participate in a leadership opportunity to attend a Wind Orchestra 2 rehearsal, which benefited the Year 7s and assisted them with aspects of concert preparation and etiquette. The ensembles are looking forward to their various performances next term beginning with the Anzac Day service in Week 1 of Term 2.
