As part of their study of Ancient History in Humanities and Social Science, Bob Hawke College Year 7 students visited the new WA Museum Boola Bardip. Students examined some of the artefacts held by the museum and toured some of the galleries, focussing in particular on the role of museums in preserving and celebrating indigenous history. Student behaviour throughout the week was excellent with students asking the museum guides lots of pertinent questions. It was also a joy to be able to use public transport to get in and out of the city so quickly, something we will be doing a lot more of as the College grows.
